Oh hmm well, loving under age girl ight??
the poem is cool simply worded and flows smoothly that is what I like the most about it and the story in there, I see what you meant with
"but the law feels different about it" well ofc it will feel different about it in this case and the ending was you being wise and saving the day by staying away and thinking if you should or shouldn't go on this hmm love story maybe?

I also like how you mentioned the teenagers mood and feeling swings in your poem by these lines
"Love and emotions are so cheap
    when you're your age
The world dies and is born again"

but you need a lil punctuation in this poem ( I know I am not the one to say this but you know =P )

over all I enjoyed reading this
    keep writing =)

So, I see this as not really "love", but as maybe starting to like someone but they are underage and you are skeptical of getting in a real relationship with them. That is a tricky situation. I, personally, don't think a few years younger is really that bad. My, now fiance, was 18 and I was 15 when we first got together and we've been together for almost 6 years. However, that is not the case for most teenage relationships...most don't last. Some would protest that is too big of a difference because of maturity level... I guess it just depends on the two people. It really depends on how big the age difference is... I don't see a problem with 2 or 3 years, but if it exceeds that then definitely would steer clear.

I love "the world dies and is born again in a matter of days" If that isn't the truth I don't know what is... I remember thinking that it was the end of the world some days because something bad happened... and then within the next couple days I was happy about something else and was content with life, hahaha.

Overall, a great piece... sorry I rambled so much :/ I tend to do that.

Great poem age really doesn't matter it's often what you mentioned sometimes people just aren't mature enough to understand love and treasure it for the gift it is. I love the flow of this piece Thomas and I think you have done a good job in expressing why you don't want to take a chance on a love that's destiny to fail. Sad but wonderful piece I enjoy your writes.
