Wow... beautifully written. I think this is the longest poem that I have read in a while, but it was well worth it. I felt myself in the water and the sorrow... It was just so beautiful I fell in love with one specific stanza:

"The ship, forged of rumors whispered, houses a crew in search of land.
The ship takes us close and the shores beckon like sirens sing.
The sweet sound of waves upon the shore, beacon to a weary soul, promise an end to the swells of an unpredictable sea.
But upon swimming, only sharp rocks and scars are received."
