</3 Ugh, Meme... you're killin' me!

This is just raw emotion... just plain out screaming WHY did you do this to me? WHY did you leave me? WHY?.... and I think everyone can relate to this at some level.

I would rather someone tell me straight up they were leaving or that they didn't want to be with me anymore instead of silence. I can't handle silence. :/ It drives me crazy.

This touched me deeply, girl.

I love how you always add those one liners that make the whole poem ... "It became too late for us.." did it... as well as that ending... you always have the perfect endings, too.

Should you fight if someone wants to let you go but then always if u let something go then it comes back its meant to be yours.

Ugh Meme, this is a feeling I know too well :/ Between friends and boyfriends everyone has ALWAYS left me with no reason as to why. Just stuck without answers and I hated it too.......but I got myself to a place where when I thought of those people, they became people who clearly are arrogant because without sounding conceited, I KNOW I was deserving of some sort of answer, and they were just rude and disrespectful and selfish to not give me one...then, it got me thinking, Why am I sitting here crying about it?? Im now crying over people who arent worth my emotions.....

It takes time to get yourself there, but once you start believing youre beautiful and youre deserving of the best, you'll realize people like this leave our life and we should be grateful for it, because we dont need the drama or the heartache. We deserve the best....

Why haven't you told me
the real reason you had

walk away? Why did you
choose the easy way
again; to leave in silence.

- this is one of the most frustrating things ever to go through, when people think it is best to go without a word, an explanation or excuse. they just up and go and it leaves our head coming up with answers on our own -- which is never a good thing! Brilliant opening which instantly drew me in and set the tone of the poem.

We went through a lot, and
you managed to change me
in so many ways, but then it
was too late to show you the
difference you made in my life.

- this is so sad, it shows the regret you have for things you didn't say or do. They obviously mean so much to you that they changed things for you and made this big difference. It is regrets like these that make the pain worse and carry on for longer than it should.

You left me feeling broken,
paralyzed by your departure.
And I blamed myself for not
loving you enough; for not
being strong enough to hold
on to you.

- this is so touching Meme, really it is. I relate so much to this and it is a process of loss which we always blame ourselves and question what we done wrong. Did we love them enough and prove this love enough? Then you question your strength because you feel you should have been stronger in order to keep a hold of them. So much mixed emotion here and it shows you really miss them and want them back.

- i think you done well to choose to make this on its own line. It shows that time ran away from you and now it is too late to do/say the things that are now playing in your mind.

You thought it would be
easier if you were the one
who walked away first,
you kept believing that
one day I would just go,
but you decided to lose me..

- This stanza shows the relationship was perhaps unstable for a while and each one wanted to hold on, to make it work, but then this person gave up. They found it easier to just walk away after perhaps waiting to see if you would.

And you know, I should have
never let you -let me go.

- very moving last line, very powerful to show that this is the ultimate regret, that you let them walk away and leave.

This whole poem was very touching Meme and I am in love with it. although it is about sadness, it offers some comfort to the reader for so many people have experienced this and you have worded it in a way which is so vividly clear to understand!

Meme- I've read this piece a few times, and it touched a sad memory for me... I remember the day all to well... the feelings were regret and sadness... but all the feelings and sadness turned into hope in the years to come... you touched a memory for me with this piece here... very heart gripping ... touching piece!
