Ugh....painful love is no fun to go through..this feeling is gut wrenching Meme..I felt like this once and its hard to get out of, but once the knife is removed we are free to live, and live healed....Don't wait around too long beautiful because sometimes they dont always take the knife out, sometimes we have to do it ourselves, painful, but worth it..

but it's not bleeding. It is
not because I ran out of
blood, it's mainly because
your knife is still buried
in my flesh.

- very deep emotion of lost love and perhaps betrayal and longing for peace. I like the idea of the knife still being there, like you do not have the control or power to take it out so you are left with it inside you causing you to slowly bleed out.

The unsharpened blade
took its time to tear every
feeling I once had for you,
so I congratulate you for
signing this pain upon every
memory we shared.

- the blunt blade is very powerful as shows how much pain you are in and how sloely it seems to be torturing you. It then begins to taint even the good memories because the pain you feel now is attached to everything that involves them so everything you remember becomes painful.

But you know..

.. all I ask of you now is to
come a little bit closer and
stretch out your hand, not
to hold my weak body but to
pull out your knife once and
for all, and let me bleed out
your love.

- This is very vivid because we all know that by removing the knife now it will cause you to bleed out in no time. The blood will come pouring out and instead of asking him to save you, in a way you are asking him to kill you so that the pain will be over.

I love the beauty in your poems Meme. How differently have you expressed the pain of a loved one in your life, who like a wound has cut deep in your mind and soul and the pain does bother you, making you feel for that one all the time and have his memories still present in your blood. When I read this, I can feel the pain of a unsharpened knife which is always rough and very painful to slit one's body. And the ending you penned is amazing. It shows how need not want a life which runs with the memories of your loved one, which is like blood for your body and soul, you want to end it by draining the only thing in your mind and soul- your loved ones' memories and love.
