Your poetry appeals to me because generally you take the mundane and make it into something that makes me smile. I'm sure there is something more to this but...I'm commenting on it as is..OK?

As of today, life seems only
mean and meaningless. There's no logic
in meshing dirt and dishes in the morning,
or being mesmerized by the mash-up
of tinkling spoons with a lack of sugar, or even
the ticklish words with too much salt.

    ^^^^

I had to laugh at this...get a dishwasher!...NO PLEASE don't! I will confess to having one but only use it a couple of times a year....I depend on rain and can't afford to misused water so...yeah..I do wash most dishes in the sink and...I think ..did people enjoy my food...bloody hope so as I have a million dishes here....all empty..haha!!

Soap only seems to sink in sponges
    during the night, always
from left to right, then clockwise
    then drown, down
    down again, on auto-pilot,
    like a washing machine,
    its socks and sadness
    going with the flow, until
    there's a flood that kills
    and all you're left with
    is a push-up bra, and a void,
    avoidant of life

    ^^

Again I loved this because I can relate...socks go missing in the machine...(maybe this was a hint about what the poem was really about?...I think it was just frustration about socks really getting lost in the wash though...I really laughted about the push up bra...but...from my own experiance it's the damn underwire that goes missing never EVER to be found again!

I'm ridiculous because I automatically thought 'wait, don't put your bras in a washing machine!'. lol. My word.

This made me laugh but also made me think, how do you do that? Like Hellon said, you take the mundane and make it interesting. I usually crank up the music and hurry my way through it, but this poem seemed to take all things into consideration. I'm probably missing the entire point of the poem because I'm taking it very literal, but it's still interesting.

There's more here than meets the eye,
and only kindred spirits can recognize it!
So! What keeps you there? Fill the Void
with a Fruitful Life. Move on.
    Peace and Blessings

    Hello,

This is a wonderful piece and a pleasure to read. The alliteration throughout is wonderful and unforced.

    All the very best,
    Ben
