    Beautiful!

    I don't know what's DNR..
but what caught my eyes was the introduction. It's strong and quite balanced.. like catchy phrases... but here it's a catchy stanza..

in the end, I also like 'resuscitated ' .
I still remember the 1st time I heard it.. it was with Eminem & Rihanna in their i love the way u lie.... here, it really felt beautiful, I might use this word, it's just addicting to my ears.. melodic much with its syllable count and s-t power.

    well-done meme! amazing.

      Thanks Abed!

DNR is a medical term or code that stands for Do Not Resuscitate, usually called for patients who dont want any further medical help if their heart stops beating or they stop breathing.

Wow!! I love it!! You always pick the best titles and it really catches my eye. I love this poem... I really love your metaphors.. they're always a delight to read.

I love this stanza the most:

    Your goodbyes drained the ink
of her soul until she was left there
    emotionless; accompanied by merely
a dried pen and a crinkled paper.

I must say I love that you wrote about how this girl wrote poetry, and that this person was the cause of her emotional poetry... and yet she can't live without that person... It was really interesting.

I love the final stanza as well!

    Well done hon!

Very very creative using this medical term and turning it into the pain of love, betrayal and emotion. It worked amazing and although short, you have created a love story that ended in utter heart break and you feel you cannot live through it.

I love this! Well done girl x
