This poem surely got lots of meanings,
it talks about life in a sense, in a sad way.

my fav stanza is

"be sure in time if
Life won't catch you
Death surely will"

I can't find anything wrong with it, its just really good.. well done keep it up.

locked up in boxes for
years upon decade

^^ I am not sure but I think it will read better if the "for" goes to the next line, like this

Locked up in boxes
for years upon decade.

I thought it might have been arranged like that just to make th second line longer and the third one shorter. Or perhaps that's the way, you want it to be read. Thats why I am unsure but it's no biggy.

Also the one about

Lovely thoughts play
Hide-and seek-
But I never find.

I think it should have a them? You never find the lovely thoughts, they hide so well.

I like the flow of the piece and some rhymes that added a semi melody to the poem. Though, it has this tone of resentment or something similar to that at least the way I interprete it and felt it.
