Grey (or gray) is one of my favorite colors, so I was instantly drawn to your poem. It got even better, when I read that it was about Seattle because I want to live there, mainly because of the weather. The poem, itself was very beautiful, and you said all you needed to say in just four lines.

It reminded me a poem I read a few years ago called "The Street" by Octavio Paz. It was about loneliness in city, and I can relate because that's how I felt, when I moved to the city for the first time. Great read, and congrats on your win. Favorited!

To be honest for the comp , it never really stood out to me as I've been alot of places and nothing really stood out tbh in all the comp, however reading it now
From not being in the challenge I see such heartache
It's such a beautiful write and I loved the lthr whole concept.

I should of looked past what I believed the challenge to be cause I really didn't read this how I should of, if that makes sence lol

I did vote for this for the challenge. I really liked the way it flowed like it wasn't even an acrostic poem. It seemed to have no break ups or forced wording which is so hard to do for an acrostic, especially when having to write a certain prompt.

The emotion in the poem is so sad but yet beautiful at the same time, it is like lost love but the perfect love you once had and so you are holding onto both these things.

    Love love it :) xx
