    I really enjoyed this poems from Colm's contest and thought it was really interesting. Getting to know you a little more and our conversation yesterday gives me a little insight into your inspiration here, and it makes the poem that much more special to read :)

    You are very descriptive and I love that about this poem.. you lead the reader through a journey, into a place setting and say "look at what I see". Obviously details are missing so we get to fill in the blanks, and that helps the reader relate to it.

    "But wait, the lady is gone. But her book is still there;
    "I see your eyes on me. Thanks for noticing.""

    I LOVE this ending. It really had a wonderful closing, something I feel I struggle with. It brought the poem around to a solid end, and it was sincere. Really a beautiful poem!
