This is beautiful, you always tell a story when you write, there is always that tenderness when penning about James, and that makes the poem feel very deep.

She bathed in shadows of the names before her,
soaking memories, not her own, seeing why he
breathes new light in dark eyes,

- i took from this opening that she was trapped in the past and the memories and the emotional scars that perhaps caused this darkness in her eyes? And now here she is with someone who is teaching her how to have light in her eyes and how to make the darkness slowly fade away. I take the darkness to be insecurities or mistrust.

for the first time;
Embracing his unconditional love
in truthful adoration, becomes euphoric.

- I think here describes the fact that you appreciate why and how he has done this for her? Like it has taken her a while but she can see what he has done and you are grateful it. You now know and believe that his love was unconditional and this gives you this emotion of peace and the heart warming feeling of true love.

Birthing a freshness of endless possibilities
forever and Always.

- I like the word choice of all this line! Birthing freshness - is like describing what he has done by his love. He has made a fresh start for your mind and heart in a different world of brightness and colour away from the darkness. Endless possibilities - this shows that with him you took chances and you both together fought for things you did not think were possible, it shows that love brings hope and the two work together to make happiness! Then Forever and always - just makes the point of the poem stand out clearly and show that the love these two have is something special and can never be broken.
