Chris, let me tell you...I found this piece to be so refreshing,

its a misconception about self harming...there are people who think it's attention seeking, some people think only teenage girls do it, or emo's...that's wrong...all manner of people use it as a coping mechanism and I think for you to admit that this was a part of your life, that's brave and shows your strength.

We're fighters and we write for the same things, if just one person reads this and says, you know what, I can beat this. That's our goal achieved.

I loved the rhymes in here, and its not completely flawless in grammar and flow but you know what, most won't even notice because you write with your heart. And its real and honest and I applaud you for that.

Never let others get you down or stop you from doing things you want or believe in.
Death is a permanent answer to a temporary problem. Life always gets better and other people will come into it and make things better.

Gratitude Thomas :) I took myself to that dark place. I felt like a failure when i didn't achieve my goals and I kept beating myself up constantly, until when I was just dying I had a moment of clarity. I love that you can relate and you have very kind words. Thank you
