    Absolutely love this. i think to some extent, we all hide ourselves behind a mask. In the end, we all feel as though if we dont guard ourselves then no one will.

      I wrote it because I was going through a hard time, even though I'm pretty sure I was the only one that knew. I kept my brave face on, and hid behind a mask, leaving my friends to just see me smiling and being happy.

    I hid behind a mask of sadness everyday for one year of my life. I made people think I was happy person.. I understand this. Thank you for writing this Jon.
