This is really touching. The eagerness to turn around thinking that she is behind while she is not brings tears to the readsrs eyes. Even if she is not physically there Im sure she is living wothin your heart<3

I see this is a tough time, Andrea. We all can relate, and we all sympathize. This poem breaks my heart. I know you feel lost and lonely, but Momma P is an ever-present angel. Gotta remember that.<3

    Puddles circle around bare
toes as I stand in silence,
    dripping, from hands
    and eyelids-

That just broke me. I feel the helpless, almost childlike sorrow in your heart when I read this stanza. You'll make it through. This poem is so precious. You guys literally are the idealistic mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relationship. I hope I have something that incredible someday. Hang in there.

    love you, sweetness<3
