Ode to Solteras

by Sykora   Apr 28, 2013

Shadows wrap our world in dread
grasping, clutching souls to tread.
Shroud surrounds and veils the light.
Colossus looms with strength and might.

Darkness traps; Soltera shines
--hope for us whom fear confines.
Dwell in dark the beacon's rays
--stand Sun Veil and praise the day!

Bound tonight the flame and hearth.
Celebrate the Sun and Earth!
Burn the wood and bomb the sky
light the land with flowers high!

Festive fires burst and bloom
searing fear and melting doom.
Hearts rejoice as terror fails
This Solteras joy prevails!
