The title drew me in here, being a teacher of little ones.
While the flow wasn't perfect, though I congratulate you on giving this form a try, the essence and love of the piece overshadowed the little flaws in the flow. And there is only eight lines and not nine.

This piece touched me, for we are drawing to a close of the school year and the children are leaving to go to a new school, to begin there journeys as they grow and next week is there final week, with graduation and end of year parties...the emotions are high and parents are already tearful and it's getting to us teachers, the pride more than anything, how much they've all grown. And this group in particular are so sweet and they love making up silly songs, and they make us smile and laugh and every day is such a joy with them.

Children are infectious, and they really do light up the world.
They are the future. I am rambling on here, but like I said, this piece touched me.

This is so beautiful. I think the form worked perfectly for it, and it captured that pure innocence and joy that children bring and should be given in return.

Very sweet poem and greatly put together.

    Nice work.

Children and beautiful and I enjoyed this style of poem, I do't know if I'd try it but I liked how you described a smile of a child. It's true how when one smiles the world is at peace. I love see my nephews smile makes my heart warm up to know they are at peace in that moment. Great write.
