I kept wondering why was it call "Magnify"?
It sounded to me like zoom in.

I also kept wondering what a "distance ring" was? then I found out in google it goes on a camera's lens. I still don't understand it. But I am guessing that's link to the title.

What I liked the most was the question at the beginning. "Is it possible to fill holes when you are done being desperate?

^ I found that too be hmm humorous because the first thought that came to me, was someone digging holes. You know like those people in movies who are desperate to find a treasure. Usually, they dig a bunch of holes and if they find it, then they make sure to cover the holes, so no one wonders who dug in the first place. ( on some occasions they are too happy that they forget)

The question was a nice way to tickle my imagination. lol

Though, after I continued reading I came up with another thought.

The distance ring seems to be choking your finger... I guess your finger is filling the hole of the ring. The word "choking," it's fitting. As the ring seems to be ringing back memories and feelings that are "chocking."

Overall, the Ring seems to be magnifying your feelings.

I guess, that's the way I understood this piece.

The ending, I'm still debating about "untested hope" and also about the "blue cloud." I'm not sure what to make out of them.

But for some reason, I feel this piece as some type of religious poem. That this are the thoughts of someone who feels like a gap has gotten between God and him/her.

    Someone whose hope was tested...
hmm I am not sure how to explain. But I enjoyed this piece. You did really good with the prompts.
