You know how much I love your nature poetry and I know how much you love writing it. Thanks for posting this one, again, it's so you, so beautiful...

If ever I needed to be shielded under
a creamy blue midnight, the starriest
of darkness, than now is the time.

^^I love the way you write, it's so touching, and makes me smile. I love looking at the stars, and making wishes, dreaming and remembering...and it is comforting at times, and sometimes that is what we need.

The universe has coveted me in the glory
of a shadow kilted fantasy, flavored
in minty shades of leaflets, barked
within roots of a dazzling nature's
    whisper.

^^This is so beautiful, and I love the way its worded. Love the use of minty, really shows what type of green your describing. Nature's whisper, always love that saying...because it really does talk to you, in a whisper

I was born to mate as one with the earth
for my passion becomes clear as raspberry
echoes mourn the loss of what is and what has passed.

^^It's easy to reflect when around the natural beauty on earth, another beautiful stanza

Naked as the sun I rise in purest of marigold dew,
finger tipping cloud dancers with a mourseled
    kiss, a dusting perhaps-

I've cocooned darkness, encased in iridescent
breezes, so that my skeletal soul may live on
forever in the winds and seasons of change...

^^Beautiful ending, totally breathtaking. It is so true that we must face the darkness to come through the other side stronger.

Loved this piece Andrea. Miss you....x

I really love this poem and I'm really impressed with it, the first stanza represents in my opinion, the paradoxically starriest moment of darkness, midnight, perhaps the darkest moment of the night which is however also characterized by the brightest stars, a paradox that symbolizes the fact that even in darkness the seed of rebirth can blossom.

The second stanza perfectly describes this brightness, and I really loved the contrast between the word "dazzling" and the word "whisper", that was really lovely. It is a rebirth that seems to be going through passion, as the writer is somehow rediscovering her passions and now, naked (symbol of truth), rises up like the sun as the rebirth is finally complete.

She has defeated darkness and her soul can live forever after these times of change, times that haven't ceased to happen though, as the writer clearly implies, as the it's in the nature of the universe to go through perpetual changes.
