Tumbling in your eye

by HumanInATree   Feb 27, 2015

Your heavenly eyes, the starry night
The gate to the locket of your heart
The mystics of your soul
Are the wonders of the sky
The tumblers to your locked eye
are so heavily graded, but i know
It's the gravity of your pain
bearing down on your
dawning eyes
Preventing all keys from unlocking
This wonderful sight
but with my sleight of hand and
understanding of how delicate locks are
How many times picked
how many scars
Let me see if i could open your eye
dancing in the dapper of color
With a picture and a poem
and not tools of theft or picks and pries
We could share a moment in time
a moment nothing but art
Just a canvas in the dark
Open your your eyes to the starry night
and see what i could unlock
with a picture and a poem

Slight of hand should be sleight of hand.
