I like this poem a lot. While it tells of past despairs, there is real hope by the end which anyone who has suffered can take a lot from when reading.
    A great write, wonderfully penned.
    All the very best,

I have to agree with Ben. Although it is a despairing poem, hope and comfort emerges at the end.
A well written piece of writing Poet on the Piano.
    Good work!

I was not expecting that change of tone towards the end, although i can see how you got there. As I look now, it is 1am, and I can feel the battle you had that night of this write. You know sooner or later something has to change, you either fight them or ignore them.

I think a good point you raised in the poem is the part where you mention beliefs about yourself, that is the problem with the mind, it is not ever what others think of us, it is what others can make us believe about ourselves!

The problem is not letting them convince us in the first place!

    Love this piece too!
