Comments : Daffodil (acrostic)

I love daffodils, Michael and it is odd to see so many raising their beautiful heads so soon because of our mild winter. Mind you, I'm sure this cold snap will stop their foray into the world.
What a lovely acrostic. The lines are tight and of a similar length which I always really struggle with in acrostic poetry. Although I don't think any rule states they should be, it is always more pleasing to the eye if you can achieve that which you have here.
I love the internal rhyme in the last line too - a perfect way to finish.

    All the very best,
    Ben

      Thank you Ben,
we have a bunch on our table. I am always astonished how determined they are. Come rain or snow they will shine! I recall snow weighing a particular wonderful yellow daffodil flower one Easter.

      Thanks again.

Michael, Such a beautiful acrostic about one of my favourite flowers. They seem to bloom whatever season.

You always write such beautiful words and set such lovely imagery even about the simplest of things. You are a very unique writer.
