I've always liked these two expressions and they fit this piece well.

"Whatever comes at you in life, face on your feet"

"Being scared is how we prove we are brave"

The first one is self explanatory. The second means that beings brave requires being scared to begin with - there is nothing brave in facing what we are not scared of!

Be scared, but be brave and things will work out for you in the end.
