    Hello again,

faces, like a clown disguise who and what we are beneath. This reminds me of the Smokey Robinson song, 'Tears of a clown'...

How many times do people ask how we are? A daily occurrence, we simply say ' yeah, I'm okay thanks' are we okay, no of course not, but I ask you...

who wants to hear how we really are, how we really feel. The last person who wanted to hear me charged me for the privilege. lol

    A good, thought provoking write.

    Take care,

    Michael

"Tears of a clown". We smile on the outside and cry deep inside. It can get very tiring of wearing this mask when stepping outside in this world. People expect us to walk around with a big smile on our face regardless how we feel. I learned not to pretend anymore and stopped putting up this fasade. It's like living in disguise. An excellent write here. Take care

Thank you both for the wonderful words. Totally agree with you. Sometimes we see people that on the outside have it all together, but it's all a mask, nothing but a facade to cover the train wreck their life really is. Sometimes we wear the mask just to protect how fragile we really are. It's difficult to face(pardon the pun) but very few people really care about how we are but we still manage to go about our day. That shows us how resilient we really are.
