Aegis, once again you have excelled yourself with such a simple yet relatable and honest piece that I guess we could all say we have been there. I for one have, wanting to go a place I shouldn't so avoiding it at all costs and even planning a different route to and from work, the lengths we'd go through eh?

I love the title because it throws you off the actual content of the piece but fits it perfectly if that makes sense.

1/ Here we have a simple statement that made me wonder why you had used the title you did but it was intriguing and made me think abit about people who say their door is always open but we could never trust them to tell us our deepest, darkest secrets. Sorry I'm rambling just my opinion...

2/ I loved this part because as it links to the first part that their doors open but you know deep down though that you stop have feelings or emptions for this person but that I that things will never be the same. The words you use are simple but so right for this.

3/ I think this shows why you used the title you did because even though you want to go the 'scenic route' past their apartment you won't because you're wise so you will avoid it at all costs even missing out on the fantastic view right?? I do feel there's so much more to this piece though.
