And sometimes Larry that's all we can do as we never know whether what we're feeling is truly acceptable if that makes any sense at all but we live and learn and in time we just get on with it because we have to
"On the spectrum" - specific phrase. This is a poem in which I disclose after 60 years that I grew up on the autism spectrum. While I rarely show signs of it now (or in the past 50 years) it still reverberates within my innermost being.
Thanks for sharing. Beautiful piece. My 7 year old is on the spectrum and it sums up how I feel about others reactions. We should be more respectful of other peoples feelings instead of trying to mold them into what we think they should be.
