    Hatred is a destructive force, isn't it? This poem, if read by those harbouring it, may well hit home, make them see that the path they follow is not healthy. Instead of hatred, they should try learning to love themselves and them try forgiveness.

      That is what I am hoping happens. I have been in a relationship for four months now and have seen a completely different side than what I seen as a child and it really opened my eyes. I am seeing how cruel, heartless and selfish a "mother" can be. I am hoping that this hits home for her, and the other two women that are trying to tear he and I by using children.

    Ithaca, this is a powerful read and the two main emotions that sieved through to me were anger and resentment.
    Parents, like so many family members, are supposed to be a pillar for us to grasp to in the harshest of storms. Unfortunately, it is too often they themselves that are the destructive influence.
