This makes my heart so very sad I couldn't imagine the grief you feel having watched your girl grow etc, it's bad enough losing a child you haven't even known

You write that final stanza only if and when you need to, Maple. No one can truly say with any certainty when that will be exactly, but if what I hear about that bird of yours is true, she may just have some say yet.
