Michael, you have paid tribute to this awful tragedy. Despite 2 years on the memory of this disaster are still imprinted on our minds. Like the ash thier avoidable deaths need not have rained down that day. Stay put policies, fire stopping measures have been changed as a result, so their lives have not been for nothing.

    Thank you.

      Thank you Mr D.
There are still unsafe buildings, that need to be sorted out. Money is always a sad priority. But yes lives that were lost, will hopefully change many things. :)

I can’t believe it’s been two years! This is a fitting ode to an avoidable tragedy.

This is a difficult form. I must say I’m not a huge fan of ‘did rain’ and ‘did breathe’. I understand the reasons for it, but it always sounds a tad forced in. That’s really my only issue here, such are the constraints of formed poetry.

Commendable as ever, Michael. We all live in hope never to hear another story like this.

Daniel, I really did think that you did like the word did! ;) haha!

Thanks fella and I have changed one and made me think a little :)

Yes lets hope there is not a repeat of this very sad catastrophe.
