I think I’ve said this on every poem you wrote with mythological creatures , I love those poems and I reallyyyy enjoy them.
The thing is, I know they are based on those creatures but every time I could see a deeper meaning. So this evil spirit here becomes a powerful metaphor for an abusive person. The ending lines compliment that so well that it gave me chills.
