Lots of water references in your poetry lately, I was wondering how purposeful that was. To be honest, it's rare for poets not to use water in their poems, but I was still curious! 'Rough waters/rough waves/anchoring/imprisonment' I get the feeling these poems are about an unstable relationship. I get feelings of acceptance, but similarly bitterness, as if your attachment to this person is pure but tumultuous. Lots of contradictory images, and the persona seems a little lost at sea, so to speak.

Actually I wrote like two lines of this then wrote “Rough Waters”. This was left incomplete for a week. Water could mean anything depending on the way its useD, but you got it right. Also I kept referencing to oceans and seas and using contradicting images on purpose. Salt water is more buoyant than fresh water, some objects would float in the sea/ocean but may sink in fresh water bodies. In the other hand salt water is not suitable for drinking. Just like being in an unstable relationship, there is the good and bad if that makes sense :)

Thank you so much for always reading my poetry !!!

It's really sad! I felt comfortable reading this because I've felt like this too. At first it seems like you're both going somewhere together and safe as you go down the same way. And then they just slowly start to leave. They end up using the way you were taking to disappear and leave you behind. I really liked this one! Great job!
