    It is so imporatnt, especially during these times, to have a little bit of nature at hand where we can find a degree of solace. I, too, am lucky to have a good deal of that around me and, like you, I never get tired of it. It's an ill wind that blows no good, as they say, and this pandemic has certainly made me appreciate all the more what I may have taken for granted at times.

      Thank you Ben, and I can't agree more with what you have said. I think we all need a place where we can escape to, and I am so lucky to have the places I mentioned in the poem within walking distance of where I live. And yes, I think I just presume it will always be there, but seeing how the land is being transformed closer to the city, does make me start to worry.

    I really liked that. Simple, clear lines with an important message, and a nice rhythm. I know it's the uncool thing to say, but I do love a rhyming poem.
