Don't listen to Stephanie's comment, I thought it didn't matter how long the poem was, that it was a great poem, and it happens to young people everyday. I knew a girl that had her dad do those kind of things to her. What makes people so sick in this society? I wish I knew. I hate people like that, and the world would be a better place if they all died. Sorry about me going on and on, it just pisses me off, but I thought your poem was very well written, and I am sorry for what has happened to you in your past. great poem.

p.s. take my advice, never shorten up what your heart is telling you to write, even if it is 10 pages long, because if you do, you are cheating yourself and the reader. Stay strong.

I feel for you. No one should have to go through that. I personally have never gone through that and I know I can't imagine the pain, but hang in there.

I think it would have been extremely difficult to have contained anything close to the amount of pain and desperation you must be feeling in a piece shorter than this....thats my two cents....anyways girl im sorry you had to go thru that and know that you have plenty of support from me if you need it - i can't say i can relate but i have a great listening ear!
