Another Love Letter

by Stephen Levant   Oct 18, 2004

I spied that honeycomb and grasped it. I placed it full in my mouth and began to nibble, gently, savoring each moment which sent another drop of nectar coursing into my being. What is this that jaded eyes are seeing?

We blend together and become indistinguishable by sunlight or moonlight. I find your essence a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. protection is felt in the place you've brought me...but more.

I fill with desire. I hunger. The taste of you has passed my lips. I've eaten of that fruit and am addicted. To me, now, nothing seems forbidden.

Sweet sweet treasure within the repository of my heart! You've placed within me my better part. Prized most above all, what wouldn't I do to remain in possession of you? My love, you mold my heart.

Love...
