Not bad, definately not deserving a 1. Then again, ratings don't matter... I've learned that the hard way. :)

Well as for the poem, I think I'd work on a more effective way in stringing together your emotions. Right now it seems that you're bluntly stating them and spoon-feeding them to the reader. Trying using more poetic terms...
