Good-bye

by Stitch   Jan 6, 2005

This doesn't really have anything to do with me... I wrote this about 9/11

I know you hate it,
When I call you at work.
But I want to apologize
Last night I was a jerk.

This is pretty scarey.
My life has gone by so fast.
I just realized that kiss this morning,
Was probably my last.

What ever happens,
Please, don't cry.
Baby, I love you,
Good-bye.

The kids are gonna need you now,
So hold on to them tight
Tell them daddy's watchin' over them,
When you kiss them goodnight.

And tell my parents,
Thanks for all they did.
Sorry for all the trouble,
But I was just a kid.

Whatever happens,
Please, don't cry.
I'll always love you,
and watch over from the sky.
No matter what happens,
Please, don't cry.
Let the memories be with you,
Good-bye.

Whatever happens,
Please don't cry,
This is my final,
Final good-bye.
