Well I don't think it deserves a 2.8, but I feel like you did not get your point across, that there is something missing in this piece that needs to be uncovered. I don't know it's just my opinion.

wow, I couldn't imagine anyone giving you a 1 on this! they were probably:
a.jealous,
b. mad they couldn't have written a peice like this
c. Just to piss you off
d. because of their own insecurities
because this is a FANTASTIC love poem, very original too. This is one of those poems I wish I could give a 6/5 on. I loved this part:

"You judge not my shadowed ways
Nor this passion, this flame of hell
My clothes, torn, I am not a freak
I am the girl who stole your love."

anyway, rating really does not matter, though it really boosts your self confidece and makes for a reason for you to be on this site (even though some may not agree). well, all I can say is to keep your head up high and keep on writing because I will make sure to read your work *adds to favorites*

I really like it, a poem need not rhyme to be a poem, I don't understand why someone gave you such a low rating. I think that it is very good!

haha, you remind me of me. my love poems are almost all darker. i liked the poem and gave it a 5. anyone who gave it less than a 3 was just jealous. you have been on my favorites list for a while, good job.
