i LOVE this. Absolutly beautiful, the words flow flawsessly and your symbols are absolutly lovely.
I loved the message you were sending across (i might have got it wrong but here is what i thought of it)
I thought it was pretty much about life and how we are all subjected to this masquerade of false hope and lies. Everything is a set up, even the faces we were are mere masks painted on to please and entertain the other around us. A mass of lies is all it's come too, and to it we have been raised to we remain blind to the real presence of a false world.
(did i just state the obvious?)
alright well, first let me praise some of your symbols.
I absolutly love the first two lines, especially ,"Make-up covered eyelids cover the pain they won't expose"
I also admire the symbol of the back rose, "Bleeding with distorted colors and you aren't ever going back"that was just a tragic and beautiful picture rolled into this exotic imagery that you put on paper. I loved it. There are many other symbols that really entranced me, but overall i loved how you wrote about the lies of everyday society and compared them to props on a stage

The TRUE meaning of this poem--

Its about a girl who pictures herself in her mind running through a long, dark, dark tunnel. There's no light, no sound, just sustaining darkness, and there's no one to help her get out, except for her dreams. But, she has a haunting dream that life isn't all everyone says it is. She's led to believe that everything is fake, unreal, and she's been living a lie this whole time. It devastates her, but she knows that it's the beginning of the end, and there will be no more lies... now that she knows the truth,
