I really liked this. I really partook in the rhythm of the piece and how you were able to format it. The lines you chose really created an intense atmosphere and kept the reader in a captured stance when increasing the symbols and adding more meaning,
"humbling internalization of smolder,
like a moth to the flame,"
(moth to flame, a bit cliche, but it fit with the piece and added more understanding of the emotion, so I sided with it)
