That Night I Was With You

by «_ĀÐdï©+ïØñ¯»   Mar 23, 2005

You said you had a girlfriend,
And you’re not usually one to cheat,
But still you took off all your clothes,
And slipped beneath the sheet.
You told me all about yourself,
And of the life you’d love to know,
Though I could help but notice,
Your feelings start to show.
It was never my intentions,
To ruin the relationship that you had,
Though it seems that’s what was happening,
I feel guilty but somewhat glad…
Even though you’re not mine,
And tomorrow I will have to leave,
Tonight is all that matters,
Because you’re lying next to me.
And maybe in the future we’ll be together,
With happiness well overdue,
Forever I could feel the same way I did,
That night I was with you…
