The Miracle Of Life.....

I'm very proud for my son and his wife,
For they've seen the miracle, the beginning of life.
A tiny baby girl has stole our hearts today,
and words could not express, just what I need to say.

She is so beautiful, flawless, with an angelical face,
this is God's Creation, this is God's Grace.
As her new life begins, we have so much love inside,
and we look at our children,"The Parents" with pride.

I know their lives will never be the same,
as they were before, this perfect baby came.
I watch them hold her, and absorb that shes "real"
and I remember back, I know how they feel.

You never forget the moment you touch their tiny hands,
the miracle of birth, no one understands.
Just for that moment, the world stops spinning round,
you can't hear a word, not even a sound.

Then things go back to normal, and your new world begins,
and you wait patiently for the giggles and grins.
You've seen the Miracle, the beginning of life,
and it happened today, 03-04-05.

But something is different in a beautiful way,
Because as for me, I'm a "Grandma" today.
To my son Justin, and his wife Brandi,
thank you for this gift, her name is Preslee.

Written for my granddaughter on the day she was born.
She is absolutely beautiful, and perfect. I love you always, my little doodle bug, love Nannie
