she made herself a promise
to protect her heart
for she had been in pain
since the very start

every time a guy came along
she thought he was Mr right
trust and tell him everything
and love him day and night

Those two parts describe me alot. The best thing about this poem is that I can relate to it. It was sad yet lovely. Keep writing and thanx for ur comment.

wow another brill peom gal! only thig i cud suggest is puttin holds each wrist tight instead of the last line on 7th stanza cos think it struggles to flow. hope u dont mind me saying. other than that its excellent! well done
