I understand what you're going through. I would recommend you reading my poem to my father... It's called "On The Road You Chose To Take." I love my parents too and wish they could listen more. But; sometimes, I just feel they don't know how to help me or give me the help I need. That I will need to seek it elsewhere, in which I did, and am currently doing. I am seeing a therapist specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorders, since she discovered, I had a social disorder, in which, makes me not know how to relate to others from my confusion and so forth.

Again, I wish you the best luck with your father... You seem to love him very much. I love my father very much too, even though, the choices, he has taken.
