A quick note:

If this does not seem funny at all to you, then first of all I think you should consider the irony a bit more. Still not funny? Maybe not. I personally think it's more sad than funny, but someone suggested that it should go here, and I figure they'd know my poetry better than I would. Funny? Not? Go ahead and comment.

Heh I found it amusing with the yeast, but sad with the message. Very true though, and it was well-written, as always. Good job man.

Who suggested it? Anyways, funny, yes. Definitely a more dry type of humor though. And yes, it was sad. Though the comparison between yeasts and human greed can definetly place this poem in more then one section. W/e.

This poem actually conveys a deeper message than what I thought at first. The dry humor and the sad truth about alcohol were put together very well, and I must say that this was definately a very unique poem. Nevertheless, I liked it a lot.
