this is an amazingly well written poem. i love all the different images and the way they are all described with such a different atmosphere. (my pome "long grass" isnt actually about death although thats what my best friend thought, i like that idea better than the one i had in mind which was about being loved nad the struggle to stay special to someone and the way you can feel comfortable around a person you know so well...doesnt come out very well in the poem at all.oh well...and thanx very much for the comment.)
