    Being young doesn't last for-ever
Growing old truly is part of life
We'll now walk every step with pride
Until God decides to grant us... our stripes.

so true! so true! ann, what a strong message you left to reader, very inspiration, great write from the heart...have a good day, hugs and much love, your friend, bert.

    Our youth is slowly disappearing
    Our beauty fading each day
Age is truly slipping up on us
    The years are flying away.

I've heard htis from one to many people in my family!! I can't say I know where your coming from, but I know one day I will!! Ann your beauty will never fad away. No ones will, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Your beauty is your heart Ann that is so kind and lovable!! Loved this poem, especially the way it was written!!
    Hugs, kisses, and God bless

So true! I hate to think about getting old even though it's reality. Everything you mentioned is so true, I am with you we are still young at heart. I still feel like a teenager LOL. Take Care! Brooke~

    "Our beauty fading each day"

You are beautiful, Ann, all of you ladies are. And to me, as you get wiser and older, you grow more beautiful. You obviously have a beautiful soul and a heart to match. This was awesome, loved it!
