THE RED TULIP ...

by Phil   Aug 20, 2005

Late night passion begins with endless days full of dreams

Upon waking, you vision the deepest hue of a red tulip closed tight from a lonely night

The sun is rising and the tulip awakens for a new beginning

A fleeting kiss of softness caresses the petals

The stem stands tall reaching for a graze of sensual warmth

Pressure given activates the opening of the tulip petals for foreplay

Gently, a whisper of innocent suggestions breeze by placing a captivating kiss on a single petal

An offering from the tulip brings it into its full bloom

Anticipation.

Trembling releases moisture due to contact

It has begun

Slowly time collaborates with passion to allow dancing to commence

Apart they stand trying to determine the rhythm and recognizing who is the leader

Closer they move, effortlessly they sway until their limbs become entangled

The day began as limitless dreams

...but the night surrendered to uncontrollable passion
