Shakespeare can’t compare

by snowboots firefighter   Aug 26, 2005

Shakespeare can’t compare to my girlfriend. Her beauty is more than skin deep. She is devoted. Her love is not dramatic. Because of her the last few days have been wonderful.
Shakespeare’s description of beauty falls short of my girlfriend’s beauty. Her beauty reminds me of different Shakespeare phrases like “what light through yonder window breaks” and “it is the east and Juliet, she is the sun.’ Next to my girlfriend the sun lacks beauty.
My girlfriend’s love is true. Not even Puck, Prince of Mischief, from A Midsummer Night’s Dream can change her heart. No magic in heaven and earth could change her love for me.
Her love for me will not end in tragedy. Her love will not end like in Romeo and Juliet.
Her love will not end like that because she is emotionally stable. I would travel to the ends of the earth to see her beautiful face. We know the appearance is not what counts. It is the mind and the soul that counts. “Should I compare her to a summer’s day?” No! Not even Shakespeare can describe her beauty.
