Shit, I absolutely love your wording in the last two lines.. "voluntary cure" is just so vivid and deep. I have those words ingrained in my mind because Im sure every single one of us who has ever suffered has a voluntary cure for their dark feelings which eases the lows and makes the highs less extreme.
