Damn! I wish I had your talent. You are an amazing writer. I love this entire piece, but this part:

so I walk the streets with an army made of those of us who've died,
the voice of a poor man is where my poetry resides, some people run and they hide, but I confront all of the lies, calling to the elevation of the mind, pointing to the Signs scattered in the skies,
my pen is breathless, and the words are harder to read at night,
so I'll end this with a plead to respect each other and the the divinity of life, throw down your gun and knife, and pick up a pen and pad... and just write...

Over the top! Incredible. You have a gift, keep using it.

Thuggy! WOW!! What do you say after reading a poem like this one you have written...I mean I am actually speechless.....This is just amazing..what leaves me more speechless is that I feel the same way...I wrote a poem called "America's most asked question"...that talks about the hope of people as well..You just don't see it anymore...I loved this poem and its inspired me to write a little something as well! Wonderful write...LOVED THE LAST PART!!

Wow! Another outstanding piece truly telling it like it is! Well done, I especially like this part:

"my pen is breathless, and the words are harder to read at night,
so I'll end this with a plead to respect each other and the the divinity of life,"

    Awesome stuff, keep it up~Holly
