This poem is brilliant:

That same song is perfect still,
The rhymes in every line,
The rhythm of your heartbeat,
All twirl and intertwine.

^^^The first stanza had be captivated straight away, the flow and the pace are just perfect.

I am amazed at this poem. It is so very true.
This stanza, I find, is the best:
"You play it when you're lonely,
It always jerks those tears,
A song still strumming heart-strings,
After all these many years."
^So perfectly worded..and so very true. It's beautiful and sad all at once. I definitely feel this way about certain songs. You captured the emotion perfectly. The ending is also fabulous. What a great poem. Keep it up! =]
