    Oh that is really sweet, a very nice poem. I liked the theme, how at first the narrative thought she would NEVER sew, then in the end she's trying to convince her daughter to!
    Haha, a very warming family poem.

    Oh this takes me back. I remember my Grandma trying to teach me to quilt. Of course I seemed to think there were better ways to occupy my time. Finally one day my Grandma and all of my aunts were sitting around a quilt laughing with my oldest cousin. That was the day I decided I wanted in. It's a memory I'll cherish always.

    Your poems always captivate me in some way and bring back special memories ...especially this one. Everybody sews in my family. unlike this poem it didn't take much convincing for me to sew but my other siblings, that's a different story. however now, all of us know how to sew....5 bros. and my little sis. its a lot of fun...

    once again, flawlessly written, so heartfelt and touching! never stop writing.
